What I collect

If you ask for Prayers to Borrow, I collect your email address. That is the only thing the form asks for.

This site also counts visits with Google Analytics, which uses cookies to see which pages are read and how visitors arrive. It does not tell me who you are.

Like every website, the server that hosts this one keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security. They are not used to identify you.

Who handles your email address

The email list is run with Kit (kit.com), a service that stores subscriber addresses and sends the emails on my behalf. Your address is kept there and nowhere else.

What I use it for

To send you Prayers to Borrow, and after that, occasional letters about the Close to His Heart devotionals, including news of the next books.

What I never do

I never sell, rent or share your address with anyone.

How to leave

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One tap and you are off the list. You can also write to hello@closetohisheartbooks.com and ask me to remove your address or tell you what I hold.

The buttons to buy the book take you to Amazon. What happens there is covered by Amazon’s own privacy policy.

Children

This site is written for adults and does not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
